About Logoyn

Building the specialist intelligence platform South Africa deserves.

Logoyn was founded on one observation: South African professionals spend the majority of their working hours executing knowledge they already have. Our specialists exist to give those hours back.

The problem we set out to solve

General-purpose AI fails at specialist work for a specific architectural reason: when you ask a general model to behave like a security auditor, it role-plays the role. It guesses at the methodology. It skips steps when context window pressure builds. It produces results that look professional until a real auditor reviews them.

We know this because we ran a real 21-phase POPIA security audit using a general model before building Logoyn. The model scored SENTINEL-AMBER (81%). Phases 14-21 degraded significantly. The failure was architectural, not capability.

Logoyn specialists do not role-play. Each specialist runs a structured, multi-phase methodology that cannot be degraded by context pressure, session length, or instruction drift. Every phase is independent. Every finding is evidence-based. Every deliverable is certifiable.

Why South Africa first

POPIA became enforceable in June 2021. The Information Regulator has begun enforcement actions. SA companies face fines of up to R10 million for non-compliance. Yet most available AI security tools apply US or EU frameworks by default -- with South African law as an afterthought.

We built Logoyn with POPIA as the primary compliance framework, not a secondary consideration. Our specialists reference POPIA sections by number, Companies Act 2008, IRBA Code, FAIS, and MHSA requirements as first-class obligations.

We also price in ZAR, host data in South Africa, and build for the reality of SA professional services -- where an independent accountant cannot afford Big 4 consulting rates but deserves the same quality of compliance output.

Our Philosophy

Principles we do not compromise on

Honor the Standard

Every specialist methodology is built on the actual professional standard for that domain -- not a simplified approximation. POPIA is enforced as South African law requires it, not as an international best-effort proxy.

Kill the Grind

50-70% of a professional's time is spent executing knowledge they already have. Our specialists execute that knowledge for them. The professional provides the judgment. The specialist provides the execution.

Love the User

SA professionals deserve the same quality of tooling as global-tier engineers. We build for professionals across South Africa -- from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Polokwane and Kimberley.

SA First, Always

Every pricing decision, every compliance framework, every data residency policy starts with South Africa. We do not adapt US products. We build for the jurisdiction where our users live and work.
