Your privacy matters
Logoyn is built on the principle that your personal information is yours. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe — in plain language.
Effective date: 17 April 2026 · Last updated: 17 April 2026
01
What information we collect
When you create a Logoyn account, we collect your name, email address, and optional workspace details. If you upgrade to a paid plan, our payments partner Polar collects billing information. Logoyn never stores your card numbers directly.
When you hire a specialist and submit a brief, we collect the content of the brief and any files you upload. These are routed to the specialist run and stored in your account history so you can reference the deliverable later.
We automatically collect standard usage data such as device type, browser, and anonymised interaction patterns. This helps us improve the marketplace experience. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
02
How we use your information
Your profile information is used to run specialists on your behalf, to deliver results to your dashboard, and to send transactional emails about runs, invoices, and support. You remain in control of what is stored and can edit or delete your profile at any time.
Brief and file content is used solely to execute the specialist you hired. It is never used to train third-party models and is never shared with the creator of the specialist or with other Logoyn users.
We use anonymised usage analytics to understand how users interact with the marketplace, identify problems, and prioritise improvements. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
03
POPIA compliance
Logoyn processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013. Our Information Officer can be contacted at privacy@logoyn.co.za.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To submit a data access or deletion request, email privacy@logoyn.co.za and we will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
We retain active account data for the duration of your account plus 3 years. Billing and tax records are retained for 7 years as required by South African law. Uploaded brief documents are deleted 30 days after run completion unless you keep them in your account.
04
Data security
All data in transit between your device and Logoyn is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted with industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
Our backend runs on Convex (SOC 2 Type II). Authentication is managed by Clerk (ISO 27001). Payments are processed by Polar (PCI-certified). All processors are bound by data-processing agreements consistent with POPIA.
We never store plain-text passwords. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the Information Regulator within 72 hours as required by POPIA.
05
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal information to any third party, ever.
We share brief and deliverable data only with the specific specialist run you hired, which executes entirely within Logoyn infrastructure. Creators who publish specialists on the marketplace do not see individual user briefs or deliverables.
We share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (Convex, Clerk, Polar, Resend). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
06
Cookies
Logoyn uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session after you sign in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
We use anonymised analytics data to understand aggregate usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is included in this data.
07
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to correct inaccurate information, to request deletion where legally permissible, to object to processing, and to data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, email our Information Officer at privacy@logoyn.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at www.justice.gov.za/inforeg/.
08
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
